I came across a really cool competitive marketing tactic this week to help in head-to-head deals. Super simple and good inspo π We've been looking at a few intent signal vendors over the last little while. And might I say.... trying to understand how any of them are different from each other has given me a migraine π€¬ . π€― --> I can't tell who really competes against who - there are multiple use cases. Some overlap, others are different. Honestly it's confusing. π€― --> I can't tell what anyone is actually GOOD at. They all seem to be ... mostly the same? They say the same things and no one is making it clear what makes them unique. Anyways - one of these companies was CommonRoom. A few interesting things I noticed: 1οΈβ£ --> they seem to use their product. We didn't look for them yet someone was in my DMs the day after we were speaking to a competitor. Magic? 2οΈβ£ --> Right after our demo, I came to LinkedIn and at the top of my feed was a promoted post from their CEO sharing a story about how they won a head-to-head deal against 3 vendors. It explains all of their differentiators. And you know what? I read the whole thing before I even realized it was a promoted post. That's it. So simple and easy to execute π π€ Happy competing out there friends! π
